On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Mayor was authorized to enter into the contract with the Southern California Telephone Co. for the necessary installation. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, Grant Deed of Emmet C. Rogers and Juua Rogers, husband and wife, as Joint tenants, covering an easemen for street purposes over a strip of land 50 ft. in width for the West one-half of To,whet St. beginning at the South line of Tract No. 1057 and extending Southerly 538.60 ft., was referred to the City Engineer to report back at next meeting. ,The Clerk advised that a representative of the Orange County Holiness Assoc. stated that they wished to withdraw their request to hold a ten day camp meeting from ~ay 23rd to June 3rd on Lots 8 and 10, Block "B"~ Tract 139, due to their inability to sectu~e a fire-proo tent. On motion of Trustee Haan, Seconded by Dixon and carried, communication was received and filed. The Committee reported that it was decided to retain the loading zone located on the ~est side of Bush St., between 3rd and 4th Streets so that equipment may be loaded and unloaded in front of place of business of Frank O. Duncan~ 306 Bush Street. On motion of Trustee Haan, carried, the City Council seconded by Dixon and adjourned. City Clerk Council Chambers Santa Ana City Hall June 4th, 1945. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. Present: Trustees Dale G. DeckerS, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, Asa Hoffman Absent: Trustees W. J. Cheney
