On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the report of the Building Dept. for Santa Aha --~ and City of Tustin for month of May; Judge,s report for May, and report of Police Dept. for May, were received and filed. Trustee Haan made a motion, seconded by Dixon and carrie~, that the. expenditures and transfers as passed by the Finance Committee be approved 'and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign warrants for the payment of demands numbering 2318 to 2544 inclusive, and the Auditor be authorized to make the transfers. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried the Council endorsed the idea of a county-wide Unified Veterans Welfare Committee and agreed to cooperate with the County Supervisors and the other cities of the County in such a program. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana Adopting Budget and Approving Memorandum of Agreement for Expenditure of 1/4 Cent Gas Tax Allocated for Streets of Major Importance" was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution and passed by the following vote: No. 3393 Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, Asa Hoffman. None W.J.Cheney Noes, Trustees Absent,Trustees On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution of Intention to Approve Contract Providing For Participation In State Employees' Retirement Syste~' was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3394 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, Asa Hoffman.
