Laguna Beach-Santa Aha Stage Line that <br />loading zone in front of C.S.0. building Just south of <br />First St. on Main St. be extended by one car length, in <br />order to relieve a traffic hazard, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, matter was referred to Trustee Cheney and <br />Engineer for their recormmendation and to report back at <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />Communication from Mrs. Edna Rose Pettis protesting <br />against proposed location of Jr. College on l?th and <br />Bristol Sts. was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert, <br />seconded by Haan and carried, communication was receive~ <br />and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, applications of P0well Neon Sign Co. to hang a <br />neon sign for E1 Toro Cafe, 220 East 4th St. and to h-r <br />two neon signs at 109 East 1st St. for the Town House; <br />and application of General Neon Co. to hang a neon sign <br />for Mrs. Ethel Gobelman, 122 West 3rd St. and of Santa <br />Ana Neon Co. to hang a neon sign for Mona's, 800 S. Maix <br />St. were granted and signs ordered hung under superrisi¢ <br />of the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />Communication from Mrs. Catherine Bauler suggesting <br />that bright paint or guards be placed on fire hydrants <br />to prevent pedestrians from falling over them was read, <br />and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, communication was referred to City Engineer <br />to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, application of Leon H. Jackson to drive a bus <br />for the Santa Aha Bus Co., and applications of Edward <br />Martin Tibbetts and Windell G. Tabor, to drive taxis <br />for the Broadway Cab Co., were granted and Clerk <br />authorized to issue licenses. <br /> <br /> <br />
