Martin, dba Veteran's Cafe, 408 E. 4th; Dawes <br /> E. Weber, dba The Colony, ll6 E. 4th St., and Vladimir <br /> Thomoff and Naiden Mirchoff, dba Buffalo Inn, 323 W. <br /> 4th St., were received and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br /> carried, applications of General Neon Co. to hang neon <br /> signs for Harry's Savoy, 402 W. 4th St. and for Alpha <br /> Beta Ranch Market, 1008 So. Main St., were granted and <br /> signs ordered hung under super~ision of the Electrical <br /> Inspector. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and <br /> carried, application of Alfred Clinton to drive a bus <br /> for the Santa Ana Bus Co. and applications of Wm. S. <br /> Chatterton and James H. Rouw, to d~tve taxis for the <br /> Broadway Cab Co., were granted and Clerk authorized to <br /> issue licenses. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the request of 0.R.Haan for permission to <br />leave the State from July 15th to August 28th, 1948, <br />was granted. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />The request of Mrs. H.W.Elliott for refund in the amoun' <br />of $12.00 on City license No. C-16, dated Jan. 9th, <br />194S, was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert, <br />seconded by Cheney and carried, Clerk was authorized to <br />issue check in favor of Mrs. H.W.Elliott covering <br />refund. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Decke~t and <br />carried, the report of the Building Dept. for Santa Ana <br />and City of Tustin for month of June; Judge's report <br />for June and report of Police Dept. for June, were <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Dec~rt, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance <br />Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw <br />warrants covering demands numbering I tel90 inclusive. <br /> <br /> <br />
