Haan On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication and Resolution No. 44 of the Planning Commission denying application of Clyde J. Green, 3040 West First St. to operate an antique,. china glass ware, clocks, watches and Jewelry,shop in a single family dwelling in an R-2 Zone, was received and action of the Planning Commission approved. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution COncerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" eliminating the southerly 20 ft of the northerly 49 ft of no parking zone on the west side of No. Main St. between 2nd and 3rd Sts., was introduced, read, con- sidered, designated Resolution No. 3404 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Absent ,Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. None Otto R. Haan Trustee Deckert recom~ended that the Chief Building Inspector be permitted to hire an Assistant Building Inspector, effective Sept. l, 1945 with the understand- ing that he be employed as long as the building permits continue to show an increase and his employment to terminate when building permits decrease. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the recommendation was approved. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Chief Building Inspector was instructed to contact the City officials of Tustin to make other arrangements for their building, plumbing and electrical inspections and to secure an Inspector to make such inspections; the Chief Building Inspector to report to the Council as to progress made. ,, No written or oral protests having been received, on motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Overruling Protests or Objections to Report of Street Superintendmmt, Approving Report and Ordering a Copy Thereof Piled with the Tax Collector" relative to weed abatement,
