Haan <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication and Resolution No. 44 of the <br />Planning Commission denying application of Clyde J. <br />Green, 3040 West First St. to operate an antique,. <br />china glass ware, clocks, watches and Jewelry,shop in a <br />single family dwelling in an R-2 Zone, was received <br />and action of the Planning Commission approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution COncerning Parking Limitations <br /> Under Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />eliminating the southerly 20 ft of the northerly 49 ft <br />of no parking zone on the west side of No. Main St. <br />between 2nd and 3rd Sts., was introduced, read, con- <br />sidered, designated Resolution No. 3404 and passed by <br /> <br />the following vote: <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent ,Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br />W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Otto R. Haan <br /> <br />Trustee Deckert recom~ended that the Chief Building <br />Inspector be permitted to hire an Assistant Building <br />Inspector, effective Sept. l, 1945 with the understand- <br />ing that he be employed as long as the building permits <br />continue to show an increase and his employment to <br />terminate when building permits decrease. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the recommendation was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Chief Building Inspector was instructed to <br />contact the City officials of Tustin to make other <br />arrangements for their building, plumbing and electrical <br />inspections and to secure an Inspector to make such <br />inspections; the Chief Building Inspector to report <br />to the Council as to progress made. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been received, on <br />motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Overruling Protests or Objections <br /> to Report of Street Superintendmmt, Approving <br /> Report and Ordering a Copy Thereof Piled with <br /> the Tax Collector" relative to weed abatement, <br /> <br /> <br />
