Siler <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney aud <br />carried, communication from City Engineer outlining <br />post-war construction program, settmno forth six project <br />and costs, was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney aud <br />carried, Clerk was authorized to file application for <br />funds from State of California and Federal Government <br />for the cost of preparing plans for the items as listed <br /> <br />in the ~ , <br /> Engineer s commtunication. <br /> <br />Communication from Santa Ana War Chest requesting <br />permission to place small War Chest announcements on <br />light poles and on each of the parking meters, beginning <br />October 1st and not to exceed a period of ten days, was <br />read and on motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Decker <br />and carried, the request was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, comm~mication from Chief of Police requesting <br />that hoods on all traffic signals be removed, for the <br />benefit of traffic, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, Ninutes of meeting of Executive Board of the <br />Joint Outfall Sewer, held at Anaheim, June 7th, 1945, <br />were received, approved and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, request of Concha Maciel for permission to hold <br />a public dance one night each week, beginning August 7t? <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />407 Central Ave. was granted subject to the approval <br />the Fire Chief and Chief of Police. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br /> on behalf of Social Club of colored <br />carried, application of Mrs. Genevieve Wisner/to hold a <br /> <br />public dance at V.F.~. Hall, 5th and Broadway, August <br /> <br />20th, 1945, was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, application of Harry N. Hudson for permission <br />to conduct a commercial poultry yard at ldlO North <br />Flower St. was denied, for the reason that it is in <br />violation of the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, application of K.P.Si!er for permission to <br />conduct the business of dealing ~u. ne~ cars at 422 West <br />Fifth St. was held over until Sept.l~th and Clerk <br /> <br />iris <br /> <br /> <br />
