Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Taxicab Permit <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Ma?6r of~e City-of' Santa <br /> <br />Ama. <br /> <br />of alcoholic beverage application made by Marie F. <br />Willers, dba The Triangle, 2321 No. Main St., was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, applications of Andrew Daniel Moody, Allene A. <br />Vanzant and Mable I. Grigsby to drive taxicabs for the <br />Broadway Cab Co., and application of B. P. Capps to <br />drive bus for the Santa Ana Bus Co., were granted and <br />Cler$ authorized to issue licenses. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />was <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />"An Ordinance Granting to the Pacific Electric <br />Railway Company, its successors and assigns, <br />the right to construct, maintain and operate <br />double track standard gauge railroad tracks <br />across Fifth Street and on Fourth Street, <br />and two tracks across Second Street, and <br />repealing Ordinances Nos. 381 and 898 <br /> <br />read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1149 <br /> <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent,Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br />W.J.Cheney, Asa Noffman. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Otto R. Haan <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance relocating tracks of the <br /> Pacific Electric Railway Company from <br /> location across 4th Street and 3rd Street" <br /> <br /> was read, considered, designated Ordin~ce No. ll50 <br /> and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent ,Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br />W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Otto R. Haan <br /> <br />The application of E.A.Erb for permission to conduct <br /> <br />a Taxicab Co. to be kno~n as the "Black and Green Cabs" <br />at 316 Bush St., was read. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Taxicab Co~mission and on <br />motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried <br />application of E.A.Erb to conduct a Taxicab Co. at 316 <br />Bush St. was approved and Clerk instructed to issue <br />license providing all provisions of application are <br />complied with. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, ADgust <br /> <br />27th, 1945, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />Deputy <br /> <br /> <br />
