Haan, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha, California~ <br />fixing the amount of money ascertained to carry <br />on the various departments of the City of Santa <br />Aha, and to pay the bonded indebtedness falling <br />due for the current year 1945-1946, and fixing <br />the rate of taxation for the current year 1945- <br />1946, designating the number of cents on each <br />!$100.00 for the various funds of said City, on <br />the whole of the taxsble property of said City <br />as set by the County Assessor of the County of <br />Orange, State of California, and Equalized by <br />the Board of Supervisors of said County, and <br />hereby levied on the whole of the taxable <br />property of said City" <br /> <br />was, read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1151 <br /> <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Santa Aha Junior Chamber of <br />Cormmerce requesting permission to ose the kunkczpal Bow! <br />during the coming E! Toro ~?~.C.A.S. football season~ <br />beginning Sunday, Sept. 9th, and submitting plan of <br />operation whereby the City of Santa Aha is to receive 10~ <br />of the gross receipts after the Federal taxes have been <br />deducted, and ~11 exoenses mncmdent..1 to the operation <br />of the ~am~s are to be paid from the balance of the <br />receipts after the City's ten per cent has been deducted <br />snd, the final net balance is to be divided between the <br />City of Sapta Ama and the Santa Aha Jonior Chamber of <br />Commerce on a fifty-fifty basis, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deekert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, permmssmon to use the ~.~t~mcipal Bowl was gr~nte~ <br />in accorSance with plans as set oz~t Jn their req~est. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried <br /> <br />the request of W. ~ · · <br /> ,~ugene Dixon for ~Dermlsslon to leave <br /> <br />the state for a period of thirty or sixty Says, beginnin <br />A~gust ~Sth, ws.~ granted. <br /> <br />0u motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
