Eugene Dixon Council Chambers Santa Aha City Hall August 27th, 1945. 7:30 P.~. Otto R. Haan, On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha, California~ fixing the amount of money ascertained to carry on the various departments of the City of Santa Aha, and to pay the bonded indebtedness falling due for the current year 1945-1946, and fixing the rate of taxation for the current year 1945- 1946, designating the number of cents on each !$100.00 for the various funds of said City, on the whole of the taxsble property of said City as set by the County Assessor of the County of Orange, State of California, and Equalized by the Board of Supervisors of said County, and hereby levied on the whole of the taxable property of said City" was, read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1151 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. ~u~ene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, f.I.J.Cheney, Asa Ho ffman ~oes, Trustees None Absent,Trustees None Communication from Pres. Santa Aha Junior Chamber of Cormmerce requesting permission to ose the kunkczpal Bow! during the coming E! Toro ~?~.C.A.S. football season~ beginning Sunday, Sept. 9th, and submitting plan of operation whereby the City of Santa Aha is to receive 10~ of the gross receipts after the Federal taxes have been deducted, and ~11 exoenses mncmdent..1 to the operation of the ~am~s are to be paid from the balance of the receipts after the City's ten per cent has been deducted snd, the final net balance is to be divided between the City of Sapta Ama and the Santa Aha Jonior Chamber of Commerce on a fifty-fifty basis, was read. On motion of Trustee Deekert, seconded by Dixon and carried, permmssmon to use the ~.~t~mcipal Bowl was gr~nte~ in accorSance with plans as set oz~t Jn their req~est.
