Secy. of Metropolitan Water <br />District, together with statement showing the assessed <br />valuation of taxable property within the Metropolitan <br />Water District of Southern California for the fiscal <br />year 194§-1948 was read and on motion of Trustee Haan, <br />seconded by Deckert and carried, comm~mication was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />Communication from General Attorney, Pacific Electric <br />Ry. Co., together with acceptance of Ordinance No. 1149 <br />granting to the Pacific Electric Ry. Co. franchise <br />across Bth St. and on 4th St. and across 2nd St. in the <br />City of Santa Ana, was read and on motion of Trustee <br />Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />Communication from Secy-Treas. National Shade Tree <br />Conference expressing their appreciation for the use of <br />Santiago Park on May 28th, 19AS, was read and on motion <br />of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br />communication was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from Holmes & Narver, offering <br />their services as Consulting Engineers to draw plans <br />and specifications for post-war sewers, sewage treatment <br />and disposal, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, communication from Donald R. Warren Co. Enginee~ s, <br />offering their services in the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for construction of projects for which <br /> <br /> <br />
