Flower <br /> St., was read. <br /> <br /> The Chairman of the Board referred the matter to a <br /> committee composed of the entire Council with request <br /> that study be made of this situation and report back at <br /> the next meeting. <br /> <br />The committee recommended that the bid of The Seagrave <br />Co,po, in the amount of $18,228.00, plus 22~% State Sales <br />Tax be accepted covering the furnishing of one Service <br />Aerial Ladder truck to be of three section telescoping <br />type, constructed entirely of metal and to extend to <br />the height of 75 feet. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the recomendation of the committee was <br />accepted and Mayor authorized to sign the contract with <br /> <br />The Seagrave Corporation~ and Clerk to return check of <br />unsuccessful bidder. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the Chairman of the Board was instructed to <br />contact the Civil Service Board and secure their opinion <br />on the War emergency clause as set out in the rules and <br />regulations governing Civil Service for the Police and <br />Fire Departments. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, theCityCounciladjourned.~c~te~yyCityC~ <br /> <br /> <br />
