Federal Public Housing, W. 8th Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from American Legion requesting <br />that the ~anta Ana Drum and Bugle Corps be supplied with <br />a City of Santa Aha Banner to carry at the NatL~nal <br />American Legion Convention at San Francisco, in Sept., <br />was referred to the Mayor with power to act. <br /> <br /> Communication and plan from City Planning Commission <br /> relative to establishment of Civic Center which would <br /> include all housing of Municipal to Federal Buildings, <br /> was read. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br /> carried, communication and plan were referred back to <br /> the Planning Commission for further study and on author- <br /> ization of Council to call meeting of interested groups <br /> on the problems of such proposed Civic Center. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, Purchasing Agent was instructed to have the <br />south corridor of the Bowe~s Nemorial ~useum painted by <br />Williams Waterproofing & Painting Co., at a cost not to <br />exceed $800.00. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, Purchasing Agent was instructed to have the <br />east corridor of the Bowers Memorial Museum painted by <br />Williams Waterproofing & Painting Co., at a cost not to <br />exceed $?00.00. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />Sewer Contractor's license bond of Pernel Barnett, <br />written by the Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. of Hamilton, <br />Ohio, in the amount of $1,000.00, dated August 19th, 19~6, <br />was approved, received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, application of Irwin W.
