In Re Protests Set-back line Bristol St. In Re Communication County Clerk - Election Nov. S, 1946 In Re Resol. Edinger St. from Flower to Main St. This being the night set for hearing protests on set-back llne on Bristol St. on both sides of said street, from the no~th city limits to the north line of W. 8th St., and from the south line of W. 4th St. to the south city limits, ten feet back of the existing property lines, the Clerk read numerous protests from re~idents and property owners on Bristol St. The City Attorney explained this hearing is on the set- back line on Bristol Street. L~r. Leonard Kinister and Mfs.Don H. Russell spoke in opposition to the l0 ft. set back line on both sides of Bristol Street. Vernon Andrews spoke in favor of the set-back line. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, the following Resolution entitled: was No. "Resolution authorizing and directing the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the resurfacing of East Washington Avenue from Main Street to Lincoln Avenue, in the City of Santa Aha, California, and fixing the prevailing wage rate" introduced, read, c~nsidered, designated Resolution 3498 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees W. Eugene Dixon, Dale G. Deckert, W.J.Cheney, Otto R. Haan Noes, Trustees Mona Absent, Trustees Asa Hoffman On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Resolutiou entitled: Was No. "Resolution Authorizing and directing the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the widening and reconstruction of West Edinger Street, fro~ Flower Street to Nain Street, in the City of Santa Ana, California, and fixing the prevailing wage rate" introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution 3499 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Absent,Trustees w.
