Letter agreement signed by Floyd B. Rogers that he would install sewer lines, water lines, sidewalk, curbs and asphaltic concrete pavement with a ~inimum thicknes~ of 4" on ~Vestwood Ave. from 17th St. northerly 586.37 ft. being Tract No. 1134, was read. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, Floyd B. Rogers was granted permission to make the improvements as outlined in Tract No. 1134 and Clerk authorized to certify approval of the map and retain check, in the amount of $1,000.00, until such time as the improvements are completed. Communication from Siegel & Raub together with tenta~iwE map of proposed Tract No. ll4V was referred to the City Engineer for study and to report back at the next meeting, on motion o£ Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, bond of ~:~.D.Schoenberger and E.D.Schoenberger, doing business as Bucey House Moving Company, housemovers, written by the Maryland Casualty Company, in the amount of ~j~l,O00.O0, was approved, received and filed. Application of Robert G. Sturges, doing business as the Rainbow Cab Co. at 401 ~Vest Fifth St., f~ permLtssion to Operate four additional taxicabs was read and on motion of Trustee Decke~t, seconded by Haan and carried~ application was refer~ed to the Taxicab Co~aission to report back at the next meeting. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, the report of the Building Inspector for Feb. 1946 and report of Judge's office for Feb. 1946 were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw warrants covering demands numbering 1838 to ~080 inclusive. On motion of T~ustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication from Fire Chief advising that he has comolied with ruling of the City Attorney and has reinstated J.J.Hansen as acting Fire Marshal, with pay retroactive to Jan. 18, 1946, was received and filed.
