Rogers that he <br /> would install sewer lines, water lines, sidewalk, curbs <br /> and asphaltic concrete pavement with a ~inimum thicknes~ <br /> of 4" on ~Vestwood Ave. from 17th St. northerly 586.37 <br /> ft. being Tract No. 1134, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, Floyd B. Rogers was granted permission to make <br />the improvements as outlined in Tract No. 1134 and <br />Clerk authorized to certify approval of the map and <br />retain check, in the amount of $1,000.00, until such <br />time as the improvements are completed. <br /> <br /> Communication from Siegel & Raub together with tenta~iwE <br /> <br />map of proposed Tract No. ll4V was referred to the <br />City Engineer for study and to report back at the <br /> <br />next meeting, on motion o£ Trustee Deckert, seconded by <br />Cheney and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, bond of ~:~.D.Schoenberger and E.D.Schoenberger, <br />doing business as Bucey House Moving Company, <br />housemovers, written by the Maryland Casualty Company, <br /> <br />in the amount of ~j~l,O00.O0, was approved, received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />Application of Robert G. Sturges, doing business as the <br />Rainbow Cab Co. at 401 ~Vest Fifth St., f~ permLtssion <br />to Operate four additional taxicabs was read and on <br />motion of Trustee Decke~t, seconded by Haan and carried~ <br />application was refer~ed to the Taxicab Co~aission to <br />report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the report of the Building Inspector for Feb. <br />1946 and report of Judge's office for Feb. 1946 were <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance <br />Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw <br />warrants covering demands numbering 1838 to ~080 <br />inclusive. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from Fire Chief advising that he <br />has comolied with ruling of the City Attorney and has <br />reinstated J.J.Hansen as acting Fire Marshal, with pay <br />retroactive to Jan. 18, 1946, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
