S.H. cot. 3rd at Bush In Re Petition 2200-220~-2204 No. Main St. Parking & Loading Zones On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, claim of M.G.Robinson, in the amount of $899.0~ covering alleged injuries to person and da?w~Ees to automobile due to condition of roadway on Memory Lane was referred to the City Attorney for proper action. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, protest of Mrs. J. T. Wilson relative to removal of trees in parkways on South Main Street, was received and filed. ,, On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, application of John J. Cain to operate a taxi- cab company to be known as the "Diamond Cab Co." was referred to the Taxicab Committee to report back at the next meeting. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, applications of Edward Leon Homer, Jr., G.A. Bolt, C. Chatfield, Alfx-ed T. Middlebrook, Gordon Armin Ash, William Norton Cooper, Gerard L. Mackreth, William Ashby Brown, Fred J. Schkowski, Robert S. McBride and Michael J. Thornton to drive taxicabs, were granted and Clerk authorized to issue licenses. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the report of the Building Inspector for March and report of Judge's office for March, 1946, were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw warrants covering demands numbering 2081 to 2301 Inclusive. ,, The request of the Union 0il Co. for 30 ft. driveways at their proposed service station on the southeast corner of 3rd and Bush St., was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, request was referred to City Engineer and Street Commissioner to report back at the next meeting. A petition of business owners at 2200, 2202 and 2204 North Main St., requesting that a thirty minute parking zone be established on North Main St. and Buffalo St., and that a no parking zone be established at the rear of building on Buffalo Street, was read.
