T. Wilson relative to <br />removal of trees in parkways on South Main Street, was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, application of John J. Cain to operate a taxi- <br />cab company to be known as the "Diamond Cab Co." was <br />referred to the Taxicab Committee to report back at <br />the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, applications of Edward Leon Homer, Jr., G.A. <br />Bolt, C. Chatfield, Alfx-ed T. Middlebrook, Gordon Armin <br />Ash, William Norton Cooper, Gerard L. Mackreth, William <br />Ashby Brown, Fred J. Schkowski, Robert S. McBride and <br />Michael J. Thornton to drive taxicabs, were granted <br />and Clerk authorized to issue licenses. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the report of the Building Inspector for March <br />and report of Judge's office for March, 1946, were <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance <br />Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw <br />warrants covering demands numbering 2081 to 2301 <br />Inclusive. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />The request of the Union 0il Co. for 30 ft. driveways <br />at their proposed service station on the southeast <br />corner of 3rd and Bush St., was read and on motion of <br />Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, request <br />was referred to City Engineer and Street Commissioner to <br />report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />A petition of business owners at 2200, 2202 and 2204 <br />North Main St., requesting that a thirty minute parking <br />zone be established on North Main St. and Buffalo St., <br />and that a no parking zone be established at the rear of <br />building on Buffalo Street, was read. <br /> <br /> <br />
