Sturges, dba Rainbow Cab <br />Co. advising that he has consented to the use of his <br />taxicab stand at 401 W. 5th St., by the Lo-Fare Cab Co. <br />Jointly with the Rainbow Cab Co., was read and on motio~ <br />of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, <br />permission was granted for the Joint use of this taxicab <br />stand. <br /> <br />Application of Robert G. Sturges, dba Rainbow Cab Co. <br />for an additional taxicab stand to be located at 213 No. <br />Sycamore St., was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert <br />seconded by Haan and carried, application was referred <br />to the Taxicab Committee to report back at the adJourne <br />meeting to be held April 16th, 19~6. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the final report of the City Engineer on the <br />resurfacing of West Fourth Street from Artesla to <br />Southern Pacific tracks, Project No. 39, Streets of <br />Major Importance, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of <br />Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, Chairma <br />of the Board and Clerk were authorized to enter into a <br />lease with Izaak Walton League and City of Santa Ana fo <br />a period of twenty-five years, beginning April 15th, 19~ <br />at a rental of $8.00 payable s~nually in advance, said <br />property lying along the east side of the City limits <br />beginning at a point 1400 ft. north of 17th and King Sts <br />and extending northerly therefrom. <br /> <br />Communication from Dorothy Knipper relative to manner <br />and attitude of bus driver employed by the Santa Ana Bus <br />Co. was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded <br />by Haan and carried, matter was referred to Taxicab and <br />Bus commission for action. <br /> <br /> <br />
