Communication from Robert G. Sturges, dba Rainbow Cab Co. advising that he has consented to the use of his taxicab stand at 401 W. 5th St., by the Lo-Fare Cab Co. Jointly with the Rainbow Cab Co., was read and on motio~ of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, permission was granted for the Joint use of this taxicab stand. Application of Robert G. Sturges, dba Rainbow Cab Co. for an additional taxicab stand to be located at 213 No. Sycamore St., was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert seconded by Haan and carried, application was referred to the Taxicab Committee to report back at the adJourne meeting to be held April 16th, 19~6. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the final report of the City Engineer on the resurfacing of West Fourth Street from Artesla to Southern Pacific tracks, Project No. 39, Streets of Major Importance, was received and filed. On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, Chairma of the Board and Clerk were authorized to enter into a lease with Izaak Walton League and City of Santa Ana fo a period of twenty-five years, beginning April 15th, 19~ at a rental of $8.00 payable s~nually in advance, said property lying along the east side of the City limits beginning at a point 1400 ft. north of 17th and King Sts and extending northerly therefrom. Communication from Dorothy Knipper relative to manner and attitude of bus driver employed by the Santa Ana Bus Co. was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, matter was referred to Taxicab and Bus commission for action.
