Zoning Ord. 1074 "Ordinance Amending Eoning Ordinance No. 1074" Mary S. Watkins and that Sheet No. lB of the Districting Map of the City In Re Ordinance No. 1163 Amend. Zoning Ord. Poinsettia Street. 1074 In Re Application Diamon~ Taxi Co. In Re Reso. No. 3451 Appl. for Rt-of-way across Railroad at 6th St. of Santa Aha be amended to reclassify the following described property, to-wit: lO.61 acres of land, bounded on the East by Ross Street, on the West by Patton Street, on the North by Seventeenth Street, excepting therefrom the South 25 feet and the North 180 feet. The north fifty feet thereof to be reclassified as C-1 and the balance of said property to be reclassified R-3 in accordance with application of Mary S. Watkins, was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1162 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Absent,Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, Asa HofFman None W.J.Cheney On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and car- ried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance Amending Zoning Ordinance No. and that Sheet No. 3 of the Districting Map of the City of Santa Ana be amended to reclassify the following des- cribed property, to-wit: The East one-half (E½) of Blocks 64, 68, 66 and of Santa Ana East, also known as the area bound on the East by Poinsettia Street, on the North by Vance Street, the South by East Sixth Street, and on the West by the alley running North and South immediate- ly to the West of Poinsettia Street, to be reclassi- fied as M-1 District was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1163 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, Asa Hoffman None W.J. Cheney. On recommendation of the Taxicab Committee and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, the application of the Diamond Taxi Company to operate eight taxicabs in the City of Santa Ana, was denied. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and car- ried, a Resolution instructing the City Attorney and City Engineer to prepare the proper application to the State Railroad Commission for a right-of-way as follows: "A 60 foot right of way across the railroad right of way at Sixth Street between Santiago Street and the Easterly line of said Railroad right of way, said 60 foot right of way being a continuation of Sixth Street easterly from Santiago Street, across said railroad right of way, to connect with Sixth Street on the Easterly side of said Railroad right of way."
