Hall, was read and on motion <br /> of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br /> Trustee Dixon was requested to attend on behalf of the <br /> City. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee DeckerS, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, permission was granted Newport Beach ~o ~onnec~ <br /> <br /> tc the present J.O.~ Sewer system certain parcels of land <br /> containing appr~xima~ely 68.32 acres, which are being <br /> annexed tc said City~a~ becomes a par~ cf Newport Beac <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, the Minutes of the Executive BOard of the Join <br /> Outfall Sewer Board held at Anaheim, J~nuary 4th, were <br /> approved and Clerk instructed to notify Newport Beach <br /> that their request has been approved by the City of <br /> Santa Aha, as contracting City. <br /> <br /> Cormmunication from Geo. Faires advising that Committee <br /> was appointed to discuss and determine the value of <br /> that portion of the Zoning Ordinance requiring a l0 ft. <br /> rear yard in the C-1 and C-2 District and that Committe~ <br /> voted that the required rear yard be deleted when used <br /> for business pux~p~ses and requesting that Attorney be <br /> instructed to amend Zoning Ordinance, was read. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dix*n and <br /> carried, communication was held over until such time <br /> as other amendments to the Zoning Ordinance were <br /> approved by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Communication from Chairman, Planning Commission, <br />suggesting that the Zoning Or~inance be revised and <br />that a full-time employee be appointed to take care of <br />necessary routine, was read and on.motion of Trustee <br />Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication <br />was referred to the Council, as a whole, for further <br />study and to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Commr~nication from Secy. Board of Education relative to <br />condition of sidewalks in front of schools was read, an~ <br />on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, matter was referred to Street Superintendent <br />with instructions that he communicate with Board of <br />Education to determine what action should be taken. <br /> <br /> <br />
