On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert aud carried, communication from Amalia A. Eastman relative to removal of trees was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, notifications of the State Board of Equalizatio of alcoholic beverage applications made by Walter E. McDonald, 2321 No. Main St. to be transferred from Marie F. Willers and Henry A. Bickler, John T. Groat, 318 E. 4th St. to be transferred from Theo. T. Osborne, were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, applications of Robert D. Adams, Jr., Fred E. McQueen, Kenneth Ho Luney, Earl Gibson, George W. Toth, 0rian James Hill, Charles E. Roberts, Willard J. William J. Ribelin, Daniel Raymond Collins, William J. Hudson, Stewart F. Clymer and Elmer Hamilton to d~ive taxicabs, were gr~nted and Clerk authorized to issue licenses. . On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the request of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 1680 to use the Municipal Bowl on Armistice Day, November llth, 1946, wa~ referred to the Auditor and Park Commissioner. On motion of Trustee Haan~ seconded by Cheney and carried, the request of Veterans of Foreign War~, Post No. 1680 for peEnission to sell V.F.W. poppies on Poppy Day, May 25th, 1948, was granted.
