Foust <br /> <br />carried, communications were referred to the City <br />Attorney for his opinion on the Community Redevelopment <br />Act and Clerk instructed to write the Chairman of the <br />Committee thanking him for the splendid work done on <br />plan submitted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, a~Resolution requesting the Board of Superviso~ <br />to provide sufficient funds in the budget for the next <br />fiscal year to enlarge the drainage ditch from Delhi <br />Road and Flower Streets to Newport Bay, was read, <br />considered, designated Resolution No. Z487 and passed <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, Otto R. Haan, <br /> W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br /> Trustees None <br /> <br />Noes, <br /> <br />Ab sent, <br /> <br />Trustees W. Eugene Dixon <br /> <br />On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion <br />of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />Board of Supervisors were requested and urged to con- <br />struct a drainage ditch on the east side of Lyon Street <br />to take care of storm waters originating in the County <br /> <br />are a. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication and Resolution No. 67 of the <br />Planning Commission approving application for variance <br />of W.F.Greschner to construct three-car garage with <br />living quarters above on rear of lot at 1197 W. 3rd St. <br />was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication and Resolution No. 68 of the <br />Planning Commission approving application for variance <br />of Ella Dennis to make 78% of existing building on rear <br />of lot at 1039 W. 1st St., into living quarters, was <br />approved. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on <br />motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to publish a notice <br />of hearing in a newspaper of general circulation, ten <br />days prior to next meeting of the Council on May 20th, <br />1946, relative to amendment to Zoning Ordinance of the <br />following described property, to-wit: <br /> <br /> A parcel of land 410 ft. wide, east and west, <br /> bounded on the south by Delhi Road, on the north <br /> by Broadway, on the West by the east line of <br /> Broadway extended southerly to Delhi Road. <br /> <br /> <br />
