220 In Re Canvass of votes & Declaring Result of Election - "Southeast Santa Ana" Armexation Resol. No. 3473 In Re Attorney to prepare Ordinance S.E. Annexation Santa Ana In Re Resol. No. 3474 Est. no parking zones ~.dth St. btn Brdwy & Birch; & So.side btn Brdwy & Birch. In Re 'Resol. No. 3475 1/4 Cent Gas Tax This being the first Monday after holding of election on June 28th, 1946, on motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Clerk was authorized to canvass the votes on the election submitting to the electors in the unincorporated territory known as "Southeast Santa Ana" the question whether such territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in and made a part of the City of Santa Ana, and therefore proceeded to canvass the votes, as follows: Ye s No Delhi Precinct 132 56 Absentee votes 4 2 Total 136 58 And it appearing that 136 votes were cast in favor of the annexation and 58 votes were cast against the annexation and there being a majority of all of the said votes cast in favor of the annexation, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha finds and declares that said annexation was carried. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, a Resolution Declaring Result of Election was introduced, considered, designated Resolution No. 3473 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Noes, Ab sent Trustees Trustees Trustees Otto R. Haan, W. Eugene Dixon, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman None Dale G. Deckert On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare an Ordinance approving annexation of "Southeast Santa Aha" to the City of Santa Aha; election held June 28th, 1946. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" establishing a no parking zone on the north side of West Eighth Street between Broadway and Birch Sts. located as follows: The East 40 feet; and on the south side of West Eighth Street between Broadway and Birch Sts. located as follows: The East 40 feet, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3474 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Otto R. Haan, V~. Eugene Dixon, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman Trustees None Noes, Absent, Trustees Dale G. Deckert On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
