No. 349 - requirements new subdivisions In Re Ordinance requiring permit to drill for water purposes In Re Award of bid Improvement No. Flower St. Washington to l?th St. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Chene~ and car- ried, the Clerk was instructed to publish a notice of hearing in a newspaper of general ciruulatlon, ten days prior to next meeting of the Council on July 15th, 1946, relative to amendment to Zoning Ordinance of the follow- ing described property, to-wit: All that real property bounded on the North by the South line of W. Seventeenth St.; on the South by a line parallel to said South line of W. Seventeenth St. and 175 feet South thereof; on the East by a line llO feet East of and parallel to the East line of Free- man St. extended North; and on the West by the center line of North Towner St. extended North, and that Sheet No. 19 of the districting map of the City of Santa Aha be amended to reclassify as R-3 District, all property now classified as R-1 and R-2 District, in accordance with application of ~Enet Rogers. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and car- ried, communication and Resolution No. 83 of the Plan- ning Commission approving application of James R. Nunn to conduct a restaurant business at the northwest corner of Washington Avenue and Sycamore Street, was approved. On recommendation of the City Attorney and on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded ~y Cheney and carried, request of Robertson Outdoor Advertising Co. to place a few courtesy benches advertising Wtlshire Club Beverages was denied and Clerk iustructed to advise Robertson Outdoor Adv. Co. to that effect. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 349 as amended, entitled "An Ordinance Requiring that new streets in new subdivisions shall conform to the streets already existing in was introduced, ~ead, considered and placed on file for second reading. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana Requiring the Issuance of a peEnit to drill for water purposes within the City limits of the City of Santa Ana" was introduced, read, considered and p~aced on file for second reading. On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the bid of Cox Bros. Construction Co., in the amount of $14,644.00 covering the improvement of North Flower Street, from Washington Avenue to Seventeenth Street, was accepted and
