~ESOLUTION NO. ~-10h AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />QUITCLAIM DEED. <br /> <br /> WHEBEAS, HEBETOFORE, the City of Santa Aha received title to certain <br />property along the Easterly bank of the Santa Aha River at the Westerly end <br />of Santa Clara Avenue, extending South to 22nd Street, and <br /> <br /> ~, the Santa Aha Kiwanis Club Foundation has no ingress or egress <br />to the property lying Northerly from said City-owned property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEEEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the <br />Council are hereby directed to execute and deliver quitclaim deed in the <br />of the City of Santa Ana, conveying and granting a nonexclusive easement to <br />the Santa Ana Kiwanis Club Foundation over the real property in the City of <br />Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> A nonexclusive easement for ingress and egress over a strip of <br />land 30 feet wide over a portion of Lot 2 of Mabury Tract, as per <br />map recorded in book 16~ page 301 of Deeds in the office of the <br />County Recorder of Los A~geles County, California, the northerly <br />line of which is described as Follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the westerly line of the land des- <br />~cribed in deed to Stratford Square, Inc. recorded in book 2688, <br /> page 532 of Official Records, South 22° 00' 00" West 102.60 feet <br /> thereon from the westerly prolongation of the north line of Lot <br /> 59 of Tract No. 2122, as per map recorded in book 61, pages 49 <br /> and 50 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder <br /> of said Orange County; thence South 89° 54' 05" East 112.72 feet <br /> to the soutt~cest corner of Lot 59 of said Tract No. 2122, the <br /> southerly line of said strip to be shortened so as to terminate <br /> on the westerly line of said Tract No. 2122 and on said westerly line <br /> of said land to Stratford Square, Inc. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOF£ED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its <br />regular meeting held on April ~th , 1955. <br /> <br />A'r£.:ST: ~/~/~ <br /> CTR~K OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, ERMA WE~T~R, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the Council of <br />the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced to <br />said Council at its regular meeting held on April ~th , 1955, and was at <br />said meeting regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />COUNCII~MEN: William Jerome, J.
