<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and car-
<br />ried, communication and Resolution No. 1~9 of the Planning
<br />Commission granting variance to permit a building to be
<br />erected, without a rear yard, on the parcel of land located
<br />at the northwest corner of Fourth and Bush Streets des-
<br />cribed as the east 100 feet of Lots l, ~ and 8 in Block 15
<br />of the Town of Santa Ana, in accordance with application
<br />of W. R. Hervey, were approved.

<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution Accepting Deed"
<br />
<br />conveying to the City of Santa Ana certain real property
<br />described by metes and bounds and located at the southwest
<br />corner of First and Flower Streets, by Redmond W. Bales,
<br />also known as R. W. Bales, and Edith R. Bales, husband and
<br />wife; was Introduced, read, considered, designated Resolu-
<br />tion No. S88~ and passed by the following vote:
