RESOLUTION NO. 55-197 AUTHORIZING CONDE~JATION OF CERTAIN
<br />PROPERTY FOR THE WIDENING OF BRISTOL STREET
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Bristol Street as it now exists in the City of Santa
<br />
<br />Ana, California, is inadequate in width to accommodate the present
<br />
<br />and future demands of traffic thereon;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City
<br />
<br />of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that the public interest
<br />
<br />and necessity require that Bristol Street between Pine Street and
<br />
<br />Fourth Street be widened and improved as shown on a map thereof on
<br />
<br />file in the office of the City Engineer and herein referred to for
<br />
<br />greater detail, to accormnodate the present and future demands of
<br />
<br />traffic thereon and further require that said City do have, take and
<br />
<br />acquire an easement for said purpose in and to those parcels of
<br />
<br />land, described as:
<br />
<br />PARCEL l: An easement over the North 8 feet of the East l0
<br />feet and over the South 17 feet of the North 25 feet of the
<br />East 3 feet of Lot i in Block "B" of Goldsmith's Addition
<br />to the Town of Santa Ana, in the City of Santa Ara, County
<br />of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof
<br />recorded in Book 31, Page 23, of Miscellaneous Records of
<br />Los Angeles County, California; and
<br />
<br />An easement over the Easterly l0 feet of the following Parcels:
<br />
<br />PARCEL 2: That portion of Tract No. 999, in the City of Santa
<br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on the
<br />map thereof recorded in Book 33, page 10, of Miscellaneous
<br />Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows:
<br /> Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Tract No. 999,
<br />being the Northwest corner of the intersection of Pine Street
<br />and Bristol Street in said City of Santa Ana, as shown on
<br />said map, and running t~ence Westerly along the Northerly line
<br />of said Pine Street, 12b feet; thence Northerly, parallel with
<br />the Westerly llne of said Bristol Street, 64 feet; thence East-
<br />erly, parallel with said Northerly line of Pine Street, 126
<br />feet to said Westerly line of Bristol Street; thence Southerly,
<br />along said Westerly line of said Bristol Street, 64 feet to
<br />the point of beginning;

<br />PARCEL 3: The North 45 feet of the South 90 feet of the East
<br />90 feet of Lot I in Block A of Tract No. 132, in the City of
<br />Santa Ara, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
<br />a map thereof recorded in Book ll, Page 42, of Miscellaneous
<br />Maps, records of said Orange County;
<br />
<br />PARCEL 4: The North 45 feet of the South 135 feet of the East
<br />90 feet of Lot i in Block A of Tract No. 132, in the City of
<br />Santa Ara, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a
<br />map thereof recorded in Book ll, Page 42, of Miscellaneous Maps,
<br />records of said Orange County.
