KE, t,~,W,R A~D AUTHORIZING EXECUTIOE OF AO&EE_~i~T GR~TII~G LICENSE WHEREAS~ the City Council has entered into an oral Agreement with the grantors. herein nm~ed to effect a compromise of an action in Eminent Domain seeking to take the property herein described and the deed and Agreement herein referred to are to carry said oral Agreement into effect. N6WI, THF~REFORE, BE IT llESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be re- corded with the County Recorder of Orange County~ California. That the property involved lies in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange~ State of California and is described as: The Northerly 17 feet of the following: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot "A" of "Menges and Crook's Sub. of G. B. Lyon's Subdivision", as sho~n on a map thereof recorded in Book 1, Page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence South 75 feet; thence West 130 feet; thence North 75 feet; thence East 130 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEEEFROM that certain 10 foot strip off the East side conveyed to t~he City of Santa Aha by deed recorded March 29, 190~, in Book 103, Page 2h3 of Deeds, records of said Orange County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby authorizes and directs the payment of $9500.00 as full consideration for said deed to be made through es- crow and further directs the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council to execute on be- half of the City, the "Agreement for Sale of Real Property and for a License to Use a Part Thereof" dated August 1, 1955 and concerning a portion of the real property herein described, and to acknowledge the stone before a Notary Public. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That a certified copy of tkis Resolution and a true copy of said Agreement are to be delivered through escrow on the express condi- tion that said Agreement be recorded at the same time as said deed and said copy of this Resolution are recorded.
