RESOLUTION NO. ~-219 AUTHO£~IZIi~G EXECUTIOi~ OF QUITCIAIJq DEED, QUITCLAIJ~II~G ALL CITY I2,ITEgEST Ii~ A PORTIO~ OF AIQ EIGHT FOOT SEWER EAS~¢~T RUNNING Ii, i k SOUTHWESTERLY DIRECTIOE FROi~i THE CITY BOUNDARY NORTH OF WILLITS STREET ~'~EREAS, on Ju~v 29th, 1898 the City of Santa Ana acquired an eight foot sewer easement running Southwesterly from the Westerly City Boundarywhich said easement crosses the property herein described and Which said easement is no longer needed by said City; NOW, TH~EFORE, BE IT ltESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed to A~ L. SCHNEIDER and ~L~RGUERITE L. SCHNEIDER, husband and wife, as joint tenants, and to deliver the same in ex- change for the consideration of $~00.00, which delivery may be made through escrow. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute es- crow instructions in the name of the City, that conform to this Resolution; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the property quitcla~ed in said deed lies in the County of Orange, State of California and is described as: All rights wkich the City of Santa Aha may have as a result of a deed made by ASHLEY CHASE to the City of Santa Ana by deed re- corded August 18, 1898 in Book 39, page 211 of Deeds, described as follows: The center line commencing at a point 1872 feet South and 163 feet West of the Northeast corner of Section Fifteen, Township Five South, Range Ten West, S. B. B. & M., and running thence South ~O-3/~o West 1032 feet and South 71° West 331 feet to the Southwest corner of the above described tract as the same conveyed any rights in that said real property described as: Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, County of Orange~ Beginning at a point lh.62 chains South of the Northwest corner of the tract of land ~onveyed by deed dated December 9th, 1876, from H. H. Roper to C. G. Linington and others, and recorded in Book 52, paEe 233 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, and running Westerly 19.1~ chains; thence Southerly ~.2~ chains to the South line of Lot Two of the Sepulveda Tract; thence Easterly at right angles 19.1~ chains to the center of the County Road, and thence Northerly along the c enter of said road, ~.22 chains to the place of beginning, and being a portion of Lot Two of the Sepulveda Tract, ac- cording to a Map recorded in Book 31, page 197 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California.
