RESOLUTION N0. ~-230 DECLARING THAT CERTAIN' AREAS LYING NORTHERLY AND '~ESTERLY OF THE CITY OF SAN~A AI~A MIGHT LOGI- CALLY BE EXPECTED TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY ~tEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that the City of Orange is now carryir~ on proceedings for the annexation of certain territory lying North- westerly of and contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; and ~HEREAS, said City Council has been requested to re-affir~u its interest in and willingness to consider annexation of said territory and other territories in the vicinity referred to; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare that, after study, it has de- termined that the area bounded by Katella Avenue on the North, Harbor Boulevard and West Street on the West, the Santa Ana River and the Santa Ana Freeway on the East, is a portion of the area im- mediately surrounding the City of Santa Ana that may reasonably and logically be expected to presently have, or develop in the near fu- ture, a desire to annex to the that this will certainly be so of the facts.
