RESOLUTION NO. 55-23h GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANI~X- ATION TO CITY OF SANTA ~A OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "SCHOOL AND PARK ANNEX NO. 1" AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARIAD OF PROTESTS THERETO WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has approved the description of certain real property as herein set out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved the annexation of said territory; and WHEREAS, the owners of said real property have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Ana, California annex said real property, stating that the same is uninhab- ited, consenting in writing that said real property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to such annexation; NOW, THEI~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all of said terri- tory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered voters resid- ing in it on August 30, 1955, the date when said petition was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of .Santa Ana, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at a point on the Center line of Monta Vista Street 660.35 feet Westerly from the intersection of the center line of Monta Vista Street with the center line of Raitt Street, in the City of Santa Ana, California, as shown on a map of Tract No. 2170 Recorded in Book 29 at Page 40 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County; running thence South 89° 50' 20" West along said center line of Monta Vista Street and the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana 691.05 feet to the intersection of the center line of said Monta Vista Street with the Northerly extension of the ~est line of Center Street; thence South 0° 15' 00" East along said West line of Center Street and its Northerly and Southerly extension 1345.48 feet to the intersection of the West line of Center Street with the South line of Fairview Avenue; thence South 89° 57' 30" East along said South line of Fairview Avenue and its Westerly extension 689.60 feet to the intersection of the South line of Fairview Avenue with the Southerly extension of the East line of Lot 31 of Re-plat Santa Ana Acres as per map thereof recorded in Book 5 at Page 8, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of ~ ange County; thence North 0° ll' 2~" West along said East line of said Lot 31 and its Southerly and Northerly extensions 1347.81 feet to the center line of Monta Vista and point of beginning.
