RESOLUTION NO. 55-2~7 EXPRESSING COUNCIL INTEi~TION TO <br />INITIATE AND REQUESTING STUDY AND REPORT BY PLANNING <br />COM~ISSION ON RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY KN0'~N AS <br />'~INDUSTRIAL ~NNEX" FR0~ R-1 TO ~-l DISTRICT <br /> <br />?MtEP~AS, heretofore territory which was classified as an M-1 <br /> <br />zone in the County of Orange was annexed to the City under the n~me <br /> <br />of "Ih~DUSTRIAL ANNEX'~ which said property is hereinbelow described; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />i~EREAS, the Council recognizes that this tract is ideally <br /> <br />suited for industrial purposes because of its proximity to railroad <br /> <br />tracks and for many other reasons; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana hereby expresses its intention to initiate a <br /> <br />change of District Ctassificat.ion and requests that the Planning Com- <br />mission of the Cit~, after study, post Notice of Hearing and proceed <br /> <br />to consider a change of District Classification of that certain prop- <br /> <br />erty described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of <br />Standard Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, as described in a deed <br />to Orange County, California, and recorded October 22nd, 19~0, <br />in Book 423, page ~68 of Official Records, with the South l~e <br />of Section 18, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, S.
