RESOLUTION NO. 55-2~7 EXPRESSING COUNCIL INTEi~TION TO INITIATE AND REQUESTING STUDY AND REPORT BY PLANNING COM~ISSION ON RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY KN0'~N AS '~INDUSTRIAL ~NNEX" FR0~ R-1 TO ~-l DISTRICT ?MtEP~AS, heretofore territory which was classified as an M-1 zone in the County of Orange was annexed to the City under the n~me of "Ih~DUSTRIAL ANNEX'~ which said property is hereinbelow described; and i~EREAS, the Council recognizes that this tract is ideally suited for industrial purposes because of its proximity to railroad tracks and for many other reasons; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby expresses its intention to initiate a change of District Ctassificat.ion and requests that the Planning Com- mission of the Cit~, after study, post Notice of Hearing and proceed to consider a change of District Classification of that certain prop- erty described as: Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of Standard Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, as described in a deed to Orange County, California, and recorded October 22nd, 19~0, in Book 423, page ~68 of Official Records, with the South l~e of Section 18, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, S. B. B. & M., thence N 89° 08' 55" E. 1548.83 along the South line of said Section 18, to the common corners of Sections 19 and 20, Town- ship ~ South, Range 9 West, S. B.
