RESOLUTION NO. ~-308 DECLARING INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SET- <br /> BACK LINES ON BOTH SIDES OF EAST FIRST STREET BETWEEN THE A.T. <br /> & S.F. RAILROAD TRACKS AND GRAND AVENUE AND ABOLISHING SETBACE <br /> LINES HERETOFORE FIXED BETWEEN GRAND AVENUE Al~O THE EASTERLY <br /> CITY LIMITS <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, upon the recommendation of the Department of Public <br />Works and study of the area, there appears to be need for the estab- <br />lishment of setback lines as hereinbelow set out and no further re- <br />quirement for the maintenance of setback lines on East First Street <br />between Grand Avenue and the Easterly City Limits; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to continue, re- <br />establish, and modify setback lines as provided for in Sections 9155 <br />through 9158 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as follows: <br /> <br /> East First Street on the North side from the A.T. & <br /> S.F. railroad tracks to Hathaway Street, 42 feet from the <br /> surveyed center line; from Hathaway Street to Grand Ave- <br /> nue, 34 feet from the surveyed center line; and on the <br /> South side from the A.T. & S.F. railroad tracks to Hathaway <br /> Street, 50 feet from the surveyed center line; all dis- <br /> tances measured at right angles to said surveyed center line. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 3rd day <br />of January, 1956 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Third and <br />Main Streets, Santa Ana, California is hereby established as the <br />time and place when all persons having any objection to the continua- <br />tion, re-establishment and/or modification of said proposed setback <br />lines, may appear and be heard. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is hereby <br />directed to give notice by publishing a copy of this Resolution in the <br />Santa Ana Independent and the Engineer's Office is directed to post <br />one copy of this Resolution, conspicuously on said Street, in front <br />of each block or part thereof, where said setback line is herein pro- <br />posed to be continued, re-established or modified. Both publication <br />and posting shall be made at least l0 days before the time of said <br />hearing. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of S~unta Aha at <br />its regular meeting held on the ~th day of December, 1955. <br />ATTESTR :~CLE L <br /> <br /> <br />
