Book 15, Page 294 c: Public Works <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~LE CITY OF SANTA <br />AEA DETERMINING ~LND DECL~RING THAT WEEDS WHICH BEAR <br />SEEDS OF A WINGY OR DOWNY NATURE AND ATTAIN SUCH A <br />LARGE GRO~TH AS TO BECOME A FIRE MENACE ~EN DRY, AND <br />WHICH ARE NOXIOUS A~ DANGEROUS, ARE GROWING UPON <br />CERTAIN STRFETS, SIDEWALKS, AND PRIVATE PROPERTY IN <br />SAID CITY OF SANTA ANA, AND A.~E A PUBLIC NUISANCE: <br />DIRECTING THE ACTING DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO POST <br />NOTICES TO DESTROY SAID WE~S AS REQUIRED BY LAW: <br />FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS AND PROTESTS, <br />AND DIRECTING THE ABATEMENT THEREOF IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH CHAPTER 13, PART 2, DIVISION 3, TITLE 4 OF THE <br />GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE ST.~TE OF CALIFOPNIA. <br /> <br /> THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION l: <br /> <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 13, Part 2, Division 3, Title $ <br />of the Government code of the State of California, the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby determines and declares that weeds which when <br />mature bear wingy or downy seeds, which will attain such a large growth <br />as to become a fire menace when dry or which are otherwise noxious and <br />dangerous, are growing upon certain streets, sidewalks and private property <br />in said City, and are hereby declared to be a public nuisance, and that the <br />names of such streets as they are commonly known are hereinafter set forth <br />and the property fronting upon such streets or sidewalks, or in front of <br />which such nuisance exists are hereinafter particularly described by lot <br />and block numbers according to the official assessment map; <br /> <br /> <br />
