RESOLUTION NO. 5~-155 AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEE'D <br /> <br />%~HEREAS, heretofore the City of Santa Ana acquired title to <br /> <br />a strip of land 8 feet in width for the purpose of running thereon <br /> <br />a sanitary sewer, which said sanitary sewer has now been discontin- <br /> <br />ued and superseded by sewer lines at different locations, and the <br /> <br />grantees hereinbelow referred to desire to acquire title to said <br /> <br />strip of land diagonally across a 12-acre parcel fronting on the <br /> <br />westerly side of Sullivan Street 344.52 feet north of the center <br /> <br />line of Monte Vista Avenue; <br /> <br />NOW, T.~IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby approves the sale of all of the City's <br />interest in and to said 8-foot strip of land, and authorizes and <br /> <br />directs the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council to execute a .Quit- <br /> <br />claim deed to Fritz F. Thompson and Wintfred Thompson, conveying <br />the City's interest in that certain real property in the County of <br /> <br />Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />A strip of land 8 feet wide for sewer center line as <br />conveyed in the deed from Ashley Chase to City of Santa <br />Ana, dated July 29th, 1898, and recorded August 18th, <br />1898, in Book 39, page 211 of Deeds, described as fol- <br />lows: Beginning at a point 1872 feet South and 163 <br />feet West of the Northeast corne~ of Section 15-5-10, <br />S. B.
