RESOLUTION NO. 56-214 ACCEPTING GRANT DEED

<br /> WHEREAS, Henry T. Se er~, Yvonne de C. Segerstrom, Anton
<br />H. Segerstrom, Nellie Ruth Segerstrom, Harold T. Segerstrom, Veronica
<br />P. Segerstrom, Harold T. Segerstrom Jr., Jeanette E. Segerstrom and
<br />Ann SeEerstrom have presented to the City Council a grant deed dated
<br />July 26, 1956, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County
<br />of Orange, State of California, described as:
<br />
<br /> An easement for street purposes over only that portion
<br />vested in the grantor herein, of the following described
<br />property. Said property being a strip of land 60 feet in
<br />width tae center line of which is described as follows:
<br /> Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Delhi
<br />Road and 01d Newport Road and ~unntng thence South 87° 42' 15"
<br />West 1868.62 feet along the North line and its Easterly ex-
<br />tension of Lot 3 in Tract No. 1013 as shown on a map thereof
<br />recorded in Book 33, Page 36, Miscellaneous I~lap, Records of
<br />Orange County, California, to the Northwest corner of said
<br />Lot 3, and the beginning of a t~ugent curve, concave Southerly;
<br />thence Westerly and Southwesterly along said curve, having a
<br />radius of 1000 feet through a central angle of 18° 59' 43" an
<br />arc length of 331.~1 feet to a tangent line; thence South
<br />68° 42' 32" West 940.35 feet to a tangent curve concave
<br />Northerly, having a radius of 1000 feet; thence Southwesterly
<br />and Westerly along said curve through a central angle of
<br />20° 01' 13" an arc distance of 349.42 feet to a point on the
<br />East line of Lot 7, Tract No. 1024 as shown on a map thereof
<br />recorded in Book 33, Page 33, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
<br />said Orange County, 306.~7 feet Northerly from the Sou~east
<br />corner of said Lot 7.
<br /> Reserving unto first party, their successors and assigns
<br />the right to construct, maintain and operate upon, across or
<br />over the land herein described, such railway tracks as shall
<br />be required by them for industrial and for other development
<br />or use for the parcels of laud owned by said party and other
<br />property adjacent to or in the vicinity of the above described
<br />land and in such locations upon the above described land, as
<br />shall be required for such purposes.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
<br />to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of
<br />Orange County, California.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of August, 1956.
