RESOLUTION NO. ~6-2~1 AUTHORIZING AN ACTION IN EMINENT DOMAIN TO ACQUIHE CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE EXTF~NSION OF DELHI ROAD W~STERLY TO HARBOR BOULEVARD, AND DECLARING THE NECESSITY THEREFOR WHEREAS, Delhi Road right-of-way has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha between Fairview Road, also knovm as 01d Newport Road, and Harbor Boulevard, with the exception of a short section between said two streets, and it is essential that said street be opened for traffic to connect Delhi Road as it presently exists through to Harbor Boulevard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby find and determine that the pub- lic interest and necessity require that Delhi Road be opened between Fairview Road, also known as Old Newport Road, and Harbor Boulevard, as shown on a map thereof on file in the office of the Department of Public Wo~ks and herein referred to for greater detail, and further require that said City do have, take, and acquire an ease- ment for street purposes over and through that certain land in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: An easement for street purposes over only that portion vested in the grantor herein, of the following described property. Said property being a strip of land 60 feet in width the center line of which is described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Delhi Road and Old Newport Road and running thence South 87° 42' 15" West 1868.62 feet along the North line and its Easterly extension of Lot 3 in Tract No. 1013 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 33, Page 36, Miscellaneous Map, Records of Orange County, California, to the North- west comer of said Lot 3, and the beginnio~ of a tangent curve, concave Southerly; thence Westerly and Southwesterly along said curve, having a radius of 1000 feet through a central angle of 18° 59' 43" an arc length of 331.~1 feet to a tangent line; thence South 68° 42' 32" West 940.35 feet to a tm~gent curve concave Northerly, having a radius of 1000 feet; thence Southwesterly and Westerly along said curve through a central angle of 20° 01' 13" an arc distance of 349. 2 feet to a point on the East line of Lot ?, Tract No. 102~ as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 33, Page 33, ~..tiscellaneous ~aps, Records of said Orange County, 306.47 feet Northerly from the Southeast corner of said Lot ?.
