RESOLUTION NO. %6-276 <br /> <br />ACCEPTING GRANT DEED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RUSSELL--, THELMA H. NELSON, CHARLES <br />C~ SHIRLEY H. CASSERLY, EENNETH E. REAF~NYDER, and VIRGINIA <br />M. R~AFBNYDER have presented to the City Council a grant deed <br />dated October 10, 1956, without cash consideration, conveying <br />property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of <br />California, described as: <br /> <br />An easement for street purposes over the West 12 feet of <br />that portion of Lot 1 of Ports, Borden and Sidwell Tract, <br />as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 4, page 624, <br />Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, <br />described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Main Street, <br />distant North 0° 34' 19" East 85.92 feet from its intersec- <br />tion with the center line of Edgewood Road, as shown on a <br />map of Tract No. 139, recorded in book 11, page 36, Miscel- <br />laneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence South <br />0° 34' 19" West 85.92 feet to said center line of Edgewood <br />Road; thence continuing South 0° 34' 19" West 69.27 feet; <br />thence North 89° 25' 41" West 45 feet; thence North <br />0° 34' 19" East, parallel with said center line of Main <br />Street, 155.19 feet to a line which bears North 89° 25' 41" <br />West from the point of beginning; thence South 89° 25' 41" <br />East ~5 feet to said point of beginning. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa <br />Ana accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby in- <br />structed to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder <br />of Orange County, California. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of October, <br />1956. <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, ERNA HUNTER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br />the Council of the City of Santa La; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 15th day of October, 1956, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />Jerome, Courtue. 2 ~ i .
