~SOLUTION NO. ~6-318 DECLARING INTENTION OF <br />CITY COUNCIL TO CHANGE THE BOUND~d~Y LINES OF <br />WA~DS AS P~QUIRED BY SECTION 101.2 OF THE <br />CHARTER OF THE CITY OF SANTA A~NA AND FIXING <br />TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HE~ING THEREON. <br /> <br /> WI~S, Section 101.2 of the Charter of the City of Santa Aha re- <br />quires the City Council change ward boundary lines each two years when any <br />ward varies at least ten percent of registered electors from any other ward <br />and such a condition now exists. <br /> <br /> NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby declares <br />its intention to make changes in the boundary lines of wards in the City so <br />that no ward shall vary from any other ward by more than ten percent of <br />total number of qualified registered electors and hereby fixes 7:30 P.M. on <br />December 17, 1956, in the City Council Chambers, third floor of the City Hall <br />at the intersection of Third and Main Streets in Santa Ana, California, as <br />the time and place when and whe~eany persons having any interest therein, or <br />any objection to the making thereof, may appear before the City Council and <br />be heard thereon. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council shall give <br />notice of said hearing by publishing this Resolution twice in the Santa Aha <br />Independent prior to said date. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND AI~PTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at <br />its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of December, 1956. <br /> <br />ATTEST~~ <br />CLERK OF' THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, ERMA HUNTER, do hereby certify that I a~n the Clerk of the Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- <br />duced to said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of December, <br />1956, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by the following <br />vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Dale H.
