RESOLUTION NO. 56-323 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED <br />ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN <br />UNINNABIT~U '£~RITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNA'£mu <br />"GOETZ KING STREET ANNEX", AND GMNG NOTICE OF TI~E <br />AND PLACE FOR ItEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO <br /> <br />W~mmEA~, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has ap- <br /> <br />proved the description of certain real property as herein set out for the pur- <br /> <br />pose of annexation and the Planming Comm~ ssion of Santa Ana has approved said <br /> <br />annexation; and <br /> <br />W~RREAS, the owner of said real property has filed a petition with the <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Aha, California, annex <br /> <br />said real property, stating that the same is uninhabited, consenting in writing <br /> <br />that said real property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said <br /> <br />City contracted prior to such annexation; <br /> <br />NOW, THERE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all of said territory under the <br /> <br />provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and <br /> <br />hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than <br /> <br />12 registered voters residing in it on December 7, 1956, the date when said <br /> <br />petition was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, <br /> <br />California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: <br /> <br /> Lots 10 and 11 of the Lands of S. H. Finley, as shown on <br />Record of Survey map filed in Book 2, Page 9, Office of the <br />County Recorder of Orange County, California, described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point in the center line of that certain un- <br />named street now known as King Street, adjacent to and Southeasterly <br />of said Lots l0 and ll, said point being the intersection of said <br />center llne of King Street with the Easterly extension of the <br />Northerly line of said Lot ll, said point also being an angle <br />point in the boundary of the City of Santa Aha; running thence <br />South 27° 30' 00" West 747.00 feet along the said center line of <br />King Street, being along the boundary line of the City of Santa <br />Aha; thence South 89° 34' 00" W~st 358.57 feet along the Easterly <br />extension of the Southern line of said Lot l0 and along the <br />Southerly line of said Lot 10, being along the boundary line of <br />the City of Santa Aha to the Southwest corner of said Lot 10; <br />thence North 27° 30' 00" East 747.00 feet along the Westerly <br />line of said Lot l0 and Lot ll to the Northwest corner of said <br />Lot ll, said point being in the boundary line of the City of <br />Santa Ana; thence North 89© 34' 00" East 358.55 feet along the <br />Northerly line of said Lot ll end the Easterly extension thereof, <br />being along the boundary line of the City of Santa Aha, to the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Said bearings and distances are shown on Record of Survey <br />filed in Book 34, Page 6, Records of Survey filed in the Office <br />of the County Recorder of Orange County, California. <br /> <br /> <br />
