RESOLUTION NO. 5~-331 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, <br />DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS <br />OF ELECTION RETURNS OF THE SPECIAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER 6, <br />1956. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council by Ordinance No. <br />NS-203 called a special bond election to be held in the <br />City of Santa Aha on November 6, 1956, and said bond <br />election was duly consolidated with the statewide <br />general election held upon the same date; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city bond proposition voted upon <br />at said special bond election is as follows, to wit: <br /> <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA LIBRARY BONDS: <br />Shall the City of Santa Ana incur a <br />bonded indebtedness in the principal <br />sum of $700,000 for the acquisition and <br />construction by said city of a certain <br />municipal improvement, to wit: a public <br />library building with vehicle parking <br />therefor and the planting and landscaping <br />of the library grounds, including the <br />acquisition of furnishings, fixtures, <br />equipment and other property necessary <br />therefor? <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of the record as entered on the <br />minutes of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County show- <br />ing the results of the canvass of the returns of said <br />special bond election and the absentee votes cast thereat, <br />has been duly received. <br /> <br /> <br />
