RESOLUTION Ii0. 56-337 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THROUGH STREETS IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That p~rsuant to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of <br /> <br />California, and to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1030 of the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />entitled "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana regulating the use of Public <br /> <br />Highways ~ithin said City", adopted April 6, 1936, the Council of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana does hereby dec!~re that No. '14 of Resolution No. 56-268, adopted the <br /> <br />15th day of October, 1956, as follows: <br /> <br /> Eighth Street and English Street, 4-way stop intersection <br />also No. 17 - Fifteenth and Parton Streets~ &-way Stop intersection <br />also No. 18 - Fifteenth and Ross Streets, &-way Stop intersection <br /> <br />are hereby repealed and rescinded, and the Director of Public Works is hereby <br /> <br />directed to cause the above described sigus to he removed. <br /> <br />RE IT ~'JRTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby declares the following <br /> <br />~med interesectior~within the said City of Santa Aha hereinafter described to be <br /> <br />two-way stop intersections, to-wit: <br /> <br />The intersection of Eighth Street and English Street, and all east <br />and west bound traffic on Eighth Street she~t stop before entering <br />the intersection. <br /> <br />The intersection of Fifteenth Street and Par~on Street, and all north <br />and south bound traffic on Parton Street shall stop before entering <br />the intersection. <br /> <br />The intersection of Fifteenth Street and Ross Street, and all east and <br />wsst bound traffic on Fifteenth Street shall stop before entering the <br />intersection. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City o f Santa Ana at its regular <br />meeting held on the 17th day of December , 1956. <br /> <br />ATTEST: J~~~.~_. <br /> Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />STATE OF C~TJ~OHNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />I, ERMA HUNTER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced to said <br />Council at its regn~ar meeting held on the 17th day of December , 1956, <br />and was at said meeting reg~arly passed and adopted by the follow~lug vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, COUNCIL~: <br /> NOES, COUNCILMEN: <br /> ABS~2~T, COUNCIl: <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />Dale H.
