No. 4048 <br /> (est. 20-min. zone) <br />Calvary Church <br /> <br />A petition was read signed by five residents in the 2200 block South <br />Patton Street requesting that a street light be placed at the inter- <br />section of South Patton and Delhi Road, and on motion 0~ Trustee <br />Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried request was referred to the <br />City Engineer with power to act. <br /> <br />A petition was read signed by four residents in the 1200 and 1300 <br />blooksSouth Magnolia Street requesting that a street light be placed <br />at the intersection of Wilshire and Magnolia Streets, and on motion <br />of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, request was <br />referred to the City Engineer with power to act. <br /> <br />A petition was read signed by 115 residents and property owners in <br />the vicinity of Fairview and Flower Streets requesting that a four-wa <br />boulevard stop be placed at the intersection of Fairview and Flower <br />and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, <br />request was referred to the Chief of Police to check traffic and <br />report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the <br />reports of the Police Department and Juvenile Department for January, <br />and statement from Purchasing Agen~ showing receipts, disbursements <br />and fund balances as of January 31, 1951, were received and filed. <br /> <br />No written or oral protests were received reference rezoning to the <br />M-1Dlstrict all that certain land bounded on the no~th by West 8th <br />Street; on the east by Hawley Street; on the south by West 5th Street <br />between Hawley Street and the right-of-way of the Pacific Electric <br />Railway Company lying west of 5th Street; on the southwest by the <br />northerly line of said railroad right-of-way, an~ on the west by King <br />Street, and on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and <br />carried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare Ordinance to <br /> <br />rezone the property. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution authorizing and directing Clerk to <br /> adve~tise for bids for the installation of a <br /> bar screen in the Joint Outfall Sewer Treatment <br /> Plant and rescinding Resolution No. $035" <br /> <br />was read, considered, <br /> <br />following.vote~ <br /> <br /> Ayes, T~ustees Coumtney R. Chandler, John W. Martin Jr., <br /> Virgil H.'Reed, Allen A. Mandy. <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> Absent, Trustees W.J.Cheney <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Martin, <br />seconded by Chandler and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution establishing time limit parking zone under Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />establishing a twenty-minute zone on the north side of Fruit Street <br />between Mortimer and French Streets, was read, considered, designated <br />Resolution No. 4048 add passed by the following vote= <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Courtney R. Chandler, John W. Martin Jr., <br /> Virgil H. Reed, Allen A.
