RESOLUTION NO. _~-27 AUTHORIZING <br /> THE <br /> C_O~m~ATIOX, <br />OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISH- <br />ING THEREON A PUBLIC LIBRARY AND OTHER BUILDINGS AND <br />DECLARING T~M PUBLIC NECESSITY FOR SAID USE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has determined the necessity for the <br /> construction of a new Public Library and the voters of the City voted to issue <br /> bonds to construct the same, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after study the City has selected the location and has acquired <br /> most of the properties in the area best designed to service the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of Santa <br /> Ana does hereby find and determine that the public interest and necessity re- <br /> quire that the City of Santa Ana do have, acquire and take fee title in and to <br /> that certain real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, described as: <br /> <br /> PARCEL 1. Lots 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the North Part of the Greenleaf <br /> Tract as per map thereof recorded in Book 25, page 49, Miscel- <br /> laneous Records of Los Angeles County, California. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 2. Lot 1, Stout's Addition to Santa Ana as per map thereof <br /> recorded in Book 6, Page 28, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said <br /> Orange County. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 3. Lots 10 and 11, Stout's Addition to Sm~a Ana as per map <br /> thereof recorded in Book 6, Page 28, Miscellaneous Maps, Records <br /> of said Orange County. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 4. LOt 15, Stout's Addition to Santa Aha as per map thereof <br /> recorded in Book 6, Page 28, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said <br /> Orange County, <br /> <br />and the Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that said <br />property is necessary for the purpose of locating and constructing thereon a <br />Public Library and other public buildings. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED: That the City Attorney be and he is hereby <br />ordered and directed to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa Aha in <br />the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Orange, <br />for condemnation of said property necessary to be taken as herein ordered and <br />heretofore described and do all things necessary to prosecute said action to <br />final determination. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTF~R RESOLVED: That the public interest, necessity and con- <br />venience require and it is hereby ordered, that the City of Santa Ana, a <br />Municipal Corporation, Plaintiff in the cond~mnation action ordered herein, <br /> <br /> <br />
