Book 15~ Page 486 <br /> <br />c: Marianne Whelan <br /> Planning Com <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 57-37 GRANTING A <br />VARIANCE WHERE THE PLANNING COMM- <br />ISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on Variance Application No. 852 the Planning Comm- <br /> ission recommended denial of the variance applied for, and the <br /> City Council after hearing and reconsideration of the facts hereby <br /> finds that said variance should be granted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby <br />finds that special circumstances attached to the property herein <br />referred to, because of the placement of the structures upon the <br />said property, that said property is deprived of privileges poss- <br />essed by other properties in the same vicinity and the granting of <br />the variance Herein set out is essential to the enjoyment of sub- <br />stantial property rights possessed by said other properties, and <br />that the granting of the vari~ce will not result in material <br />damage or prejudice to other property in the s~me district and <br />vicinity; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a variauce is hereby granted to <br />apply to that property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> The South 136 feet of Lot 5 of Block B of the <br /> Hell Tract, <br /> <br />to permit the construction of a single family dwelling, in addition <br />to the existing structures, in all respects to confor~ to code re- <br />quirements of the City, on the condition that two additional off- <br />street parking places be provided and that sidewalks be installed <br />to City standards along all street frontages of the property where <br />they do not now exist. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~th day of .March , 1957. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
