RESOLUTION NO. 57-79 ACCEPTING GRANT DEED

<br /> WHEREAS, THE PRESBYTERY OF LOS ANGELES has presented to the
<br />City Council of Santa Aha, California, a Grant Deed dated February
<br />25, 1957, without cash consideration, conveying property in ~he City
<br />of Santa Ana, County of Ora~e, State of California, described as:
<br />
<br />An easement for street purposes over the northerly 30
<br />feet of the following described property: That portion
<br />of the northwest quarter of Section 24, in Township 5
<br />South, Range l0 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
<br />described as follows:
<br />
<br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the southerly
<br />extension of the easterly line of Tract No. 1370, as
<br />shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 41, Page 21,
<br />Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, in
<br />Borchard Avenue, as shown on said my with the southerly
<br />line of land described in the deed to Roy C. Bogardus,
<br />an unmar~ ed man, recorded February 17, 1913, in Book
<br />227, page 85, Deeds; thence easterly along the southerly
<br />line of said land of Bogardus to the southwesterly corner
<br />of land described in the deed to Joseph A.Fttzgerald and
<br />wife, recorded April 6, 1940, in Book 1039, Page 214,
<br />Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder
<br />of said 0r~ge County, which said corner is north 89° 32'
<br />35" west; 166.71 feet from a point in the center line of
<br />Olive Street, distant thereon north 0° 36' S0" east 5
<br />feet from the intersection of the center lines of Olive
<br />Street and Borchard Avenue, as shown on a map of Tract
<br />No. 352, thereof recorded in Book 15, Page 15, Miscell-
<br />aneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence north
<br />0° 36' 40" east along the westerly line of said Fitzgerald's
<br />land and the westerly line of land described in the deed
<br />to Roy Russell and wife, recorded January 10, 1947, in
<br />Book 1472, Page 47, Official Records, in the office of the
<br />County Recorder of said Orange County, and along the north-
<br />erly extension of the westerly line of said Russell's land
<br />to an intersection with the westerly extension of the
<br />centerline of Wilshtre Avenue, as shown on said map of Tract
<br />No. 352; thence westerly along said extended center line
<br />of Wilshire Avenue to its intersection with the easterly
<br />line of said Tract No. 1370; thence southerly along the
<br />easterly line of said Tract No. 1370 and the southerly
<br />extension thereof to the point of beginning.

<br />EXCEPTING THEREFROM the southerly 282 feet thereof.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
<br />accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
<br />to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of
<br />Orange County, California.
