P~ESOLUTION NO. 57-103 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CLERK OF T~UNCIL TO PUBLISH NOTICE ON ALL PROCEEDINGS SW.w.~.ING ANENDNENT OF ANY OF THE ZON- ING PROVISIONS OF ~HE SANTA ANA NUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, either on application by ir~ erested parties, or on proceedings initiated by the Council or the Planning Commission, numerous proceedings seeking to ~end the zoning p~ovtsions of Artigle IX of the Sa~ ta Ana Nunictpal Code, and/or the Districting Nap of the City of Santa Ana, come before the Council for consider- ation~ and, WHEREAS, each of said proceedings are required by the Govern- ment Code of the State of California to be dete~nined by the City Council only aftera public hearing has been held thereon on notice published in a newspaper at least ten (lC) days before said hearing$ and WHEREAS, due to publication dates, and dates of filing ~ th the Clerk of the Council, unnecessary delay has occurred in some proceedings by reason of the fact that heretofore the Council has in each case ordered publication of the notice required by said Gove rr~ment Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Council is hereby authorized and directed to publish Notice of Public Nearing as soon as conveniently possible after receiving the file of any proceeding seeking amendment of any of the zoning p~ovisions of Article IX of the Sa~ ta Ana Nunicipal Code, or amendment of any of the Districting Naps of the City, and to publish said Notice on the day most advantageous to the City, and to set said Public Hearing for 7:30 PN on the first regular Council meeting date following the completion of the notice period required by said Gove~m~n t Code, PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Banta Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of April , 1957.
