4O <br /> <br /> R~SOLUTION No. 577. <br /> <br /> A Resolution of Intention of the Board of Trustees ~ <br />of the 0ity of Santa Ana, to install street lamps on Fourth Street <br />from Mortimer Street to Roes Street, and on Main Street from Second <br />Street to Sixth Street, and to Assess the cost of installing the <br />same to the real property, and fixing an assessment district of the <br />lots and lands to be benefitted by said improvement, pursuant to the <br />provisions of Act 3040, 0ha~er 252, of the laws of the State of <br />0alifornia, approved March 21st, 1905, and as amended and approved <br />June 6th 1913, Statutes of 191~, page 421. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the 0ity of Santa Ana does <br /> declare and resolve as follows:- <br /> <br /> Resolved, that it is the intention of the Board of <br /> Trustees of the 0ity of Santa Aha to order the following street <br /> work done: <br /> <br /> The purchase and installation of electric lamps con- <br /> sisting of standards or posts and all lamps and appliances includ- <br /> ing globes, conduits, wiring and all of the necessary appurtenances <br /> required to put said lamps in order for the turning on of electric <br /> current for the purpose of lighting said lamps and for all work and <br /> repairs incidental thereto that may be required for a period of two <br /> years from the date of the installation of said lamps. <br /> <br /> It is further Resolved, and herein provided, that <br /> said lamps shall be installed in the following locations and in number <br /> as follows:- <br /> <br /> One row on each side of Fourth Street from the West <br /> side of Mortimer Street to the East side of Ross Street and one row <br /> on each side of Main Street from the North side of Second Street <br /> to the South side of Sixth Street, and in each case shall consist <br /> of three lamps or clusters to the block on each side of the Street; <br /> one at each corner and one in the center or as near said locations <br /> as may be practicable. ~aid lamps to consist of one or more lights <br /> in the discretion of the Board. <br /> <br /> It is further Resolved, that the following assessment <br />district be prescribed and designated as against the real property <br />therein contained, an assessment shall be made to pay the costs and <br />expenses of the purchase and installation of said lamps and the <br />appurtenances thereto, and to pay the repairs for maintaining the same <br />for a period of two years from the date of the installation of said <br />lamps according to and in proportion to the benefits to be derived <br />thersfrc~ as follows:- <br /> <br /> 0on~encing at a point in the center line of Mortimer <br />Street 125 feet North of the North line of Fourth Street, thence <br />West parallel to the North line of East Fourth Street to a point 12§ <br />feet East of the East line of North Main Street, thence North para- <br />llel to the East line of North Main Street to the center line of <br />East Sixth Street, thence West parallel to Sixth Street to a point in <br />the center line of West Sixth Street 125 feet West of the West line <br />of North Main Street, thence South parallel to the West line of North <br />Main Street to a point 125 feet North of the North line of West Fourth <br /> <br /> <br />
