RESOLUTION NO. 57-164 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE~ OF SANTA ANA OF ~HAT CER- TAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "~&ABURM AI~I~EX NO. 3~t, AND GIVING NC~ ICE 0F TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Or, ge County, California has approved the description of certain real property as herein set out for the purpose of annexation and the planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved said annexation; and WHEREAS, the owners of more than 25 percent of said real property have filed a petitionwith the Clerk of the Council, requestiug that the City c~ Ss~ta Ana, California, annex said real property, and stating that the same is uninhabited; NOW, ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: City of Santa Ana hereby declares its That the City Council of the intention to annex all of said territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Terr- itory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is uninhabited, since it had less tha~ 12 registered voters residing in it on April 8, 1957 , the date when said petition was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Mabury Street with the westerly extension of the South line of Fruit Street (40 feet wide), said point being on the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha, California; running thence easterly along said westerly extension and said south line of Fruit Street and its easterly extension to the east line of Tustin Avenue (60 feet wide); thence northerly along said east line of Tustin Avenue to its intersection with the easterly extension of the north line of Lot 5~ Mabury Tract, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 185, Page 300, Miscellm~eous Records of Los Angeles County; thence westerly along said easterly extension and North line of said Lot 5 and along the North line of Lot 6 and its westerly extension of said Mabury Tract, to the center line of Mabury Street and said City boundary of Santa Ana; thence southerly along said center line of Mabur~ Street and along said City boundary to the point of beginning. That said Council hereby designates ~'Mabury Annex No. 3" as an appropriate name for s~ d s~nexation. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that August 5, 1957, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Ch~bers in the City Hall at Third m~d Main Streets,
