RESOLUTION NO~ 57-189 CONCERNING PARKING LIMITATIOI~S AND CURB MARKING~ iN ACCORDANCE THEP~wITH: BE IT RESOLVED: That pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, Section &72, and Section 3201 of the Santa Ana Mmnicipal Code, the City declares that portion: of Resolution No. 248~ dated April 6, 1936, and ordering the curb painted RED, as follows: BROADWAY On the West side of Broadway, between Eighth Street and Sixth Street, as follows: South 22 feet of the North 168 feet is hereby repealed and rescinded, and the Director of Public Works is hereby directed to cause the paint on said curb to be removed or covered. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That p~rsuant to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, Section &72, and Section 3201 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the City Council hereby establishes parking limitations and regulations set forth in Section 3213 of the Santa ;ma Municipal Code, as follows: BROADWAY On the West side of Broadway, between Eighth Street and Sixth Street, as follows: South 20 feet of the North 228 feet On the East side of Broadway, between Eighth Street and Sixth Street, as follows: North 25 feet and said curb along said streets shall be painted P~D, and the Director of Public Works is hereby directed to cause the said curb to be painted as hereinabove described. BE IT ALSO RESOLVED: That pursuant to the prowisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, Section ~59.2, the City Council declares that pedestrians shall not cross in the crosswalks described as follows: Broadwa~v & Eighth South leg North Crosswalk and the Director of Public Works is hereby directed to place appropriate sig~s indicating this regulation.
