B6ok 16, Page 10~ <br /> <br />Planning Property on North siAe of Highland St <br />Building 122 ft. from corner, btn Bristol & Shulton <br />Harry Tancred~msOLUTiON NO. 57-198 GRANTING VARIANCE TO HARRY <br /> TANCREDI WHERE PLANNING COMMISSION HAD RECOMMENDED <br /> DENIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore Variance Application No. 906 was filed, <br /> requesting peEnission to construct a three-unit family dwelling with <br /> a garage for each occupancy on a 5400 square-foot lot, with 40-foot <br /> frontage facing on Highland Avenue, Santa Ana, and <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, after notice a~d hearing, the Santa Aha Planning <br /> Commission unanimously recommended that said proposed Variance be <br /> denied, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after study and consideration, has <br />decided that becm~se the lot in question is a key lot and other <br />prOperties in the area have other than R-1 uses, that an R-3 use <br />would not be detrimental to the neighborhood. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Variance Application No. <br />906 is hereby granted to permit the construction of a three-unit <br />family dwelling on that certain property described as: <br /> <br /> The West 20 feet of Lot 6 and the East 20 feet of Lots <br /> 4 and 5, and ~he East 20 feet of the South 25 feet of <br /> Lot 3, all in the Tract No. 228, as shown on a map re- <br /> corded in Book 13, Page 19 of Misc. Maps, Records of <br /> Orange County, California, <br /> <br />on the following conditions: <br /> <br /> That an individual garage be provided for each occupancy, that <br />the builder construct a standard drive approach, and replace the <br />broken sidewalk acrOss the front of the prOperty, and that no part <br />of any structure be more than one story high. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~y of August, 1957. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
