<br />A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF
<br /> EAST ELEV~TH ST.
<br />
<br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa And do
<br />
<br />resolve and declare as follows:-
<br /> Section 1. Resolved, that the public convenience and
<br /> interest requires amd it is the intention of the said Board of
<br /> Trustees to order the vacation of a portion of East Eleventh Street
<br /> of said City, as follows to-wit:-
<br />
<br /> Ail that portion of East Eleventh Street lying East of
<br />
<br />the East line of Spu~geon Street as shown on a map recorded in
<br />
<br />Book 13, page 63 of Maps Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
<br />California.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That said Board does further declare that
<br />
<br />the lots, lands or premises affected by this vacation are those certain
<br />pieces or parcels of real property hereinafter described as follows:-
<br />
<br /> (1) Lots 1 and 2 of Smith and Bishop's Addition to the City of
<br />Santa And, as shown on a ~ap recorded in Book 1, Page 100, Miscellaneous
<br />Records Maps of Orange County, California.
<br />
<br /> (2) All that certain tract of land conveye~ by a deed by Antha
<br />M.Merriam to S.W.Sutton, as shown in Book 4g, page 231, Record of Deeds
<br />of Orange County, California.
<br />
<br /> (3) That tract of land as shown by deed conveyed by Nat N. Brown
<br />to S.W.Sutton as recorded in Book 101, page 25, Record of Deeds of
<br />Orange County, California.
<br />
<br /> (4) That piece or parcel of land conveyed by Decree of Distribution
<br />to Elizabeth A. Lawton as shown in Book 257, page 3,Recorder's Office
<br />Records of Orange County,California.
<br />
<br /> (5) Lot ?, of the Alexander Lawton Addition as shown by map
<br />
<br />Book 4, Page 35,Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
<br />
<br /> Section 3. All of the herein proposed work to be done in
<br />pursuance of an Act of the Legiglature of the State of California,
<br />entitled: "An Act to provide for laying out, opening, extending, widening,
<br />straightening, or closing up, in whole or in part any street, square,
<br />lane, alley, court or place within municipalities, and to condemn and
<br />acquire any and all land and property necesgary and convenient for that
<br />purpose" approved March 6th, lggg, and the several acts amendatory
<br />thereof or supplemental thereto.
<br />
<br /> Section 4. The "Santa And Daily Evening Register"
<br />
<br />is hereby designated as the daily newspaper published and circulated
<br />in said City in which the Superlntendent's notice of the passage of
<br />this Resolution shall be published.
<br />
<br /> The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this
<br />
<br />2~th day of February,1919, by the following vote to-wit:-
<br />Ayes, Trustees Tubbs,' McPhee, Greenleaf, and Maryatt!
<br />Noes, Trustees None. Absent,President Visel.
<br />
