RESOLUTION NO. 57-224 DIRECTING THE CLERK OF THE COUNCIL TO PUBLISH NOTICE INVITING SEALED PHOPOSALS FOR THE BONDS OF VEHICLE PARKING DISTRICT NO. I OF THE CITY OF S~TA ANA WHEREAS, certain unpaid assessments against eighteen separate parcels of land in Vehicle Parking District No. i of the City of Santa Aha have been certified to and filed by the Director of Finance, and an Ordinance to provide for the issuance of bonds to cover said assess- ments has been introduced, considered and passed to second reading; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That said bonds in amount of $58,491.28, be sold to the highest responsible bidder for cash, and that sealed bids or proposals for the purchase of said bonds shall be received up to the time stated in the notice made a part hereof. Section 2. That the Clerk of the Council is hereby directed to publish said notice by giving the same two publications in The Santa Ana ReEister, a newspaperiof general circulation in said City, the first publication to be at least ten (10) days before the 16th day of September, Section 3. Council shall be 1957 · The Notice so to be published by said Clerk of the substantially as follows: NOTICE INVITING BIDS ON EIGHTEMN BONDS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $58,491.28 OF VEHICLE PARKING DISTRICT NO. i OF TME CITY OF SANTA ANA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals for the purchase of eighteen bonds in different.amounts as hereinbelow set out, in the total amount of $58,491.28, will be received by the City Council up to the hour of 7:30 O'clock P.M., California Daylight Saving Time, on Monday, September 16, 1957, a regular meeting of said City Council, and the time and place of opening said proposals. Said regular meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall, Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California.
